Official-Languages Programs

To promote the study of Canada’s official languages, the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC), in cooperation with the provinces and territories, administers Explore, Destination Clic, and Odyssey. CMEC also coordinates official-languages activities related to agreements between the federal and provincial/territorial governments.

Language-assistant program

ODYSSEY

CMEC acknowledges the financial support provided by the Department of Canadian Heritage for its programs. The provinces and territories assume the costs of the programs’ decentralized administration. The Council of Ministers of Education, Canada, coordinates the programs at the pan-Canadian level.
