What does my status mean?

Before the draw, during the application period, and after the draw, the status of your on-line profile will change. Some common status updates and their meanings are:

Not completed: You have an on-line profile, but you have not completed your on-line application. You must do so before February 15.

Application completed: Your on-line application has been completed, but your supporting documents have not been received.

Incomplete application: Your supporting documents have been received, but a document is missing or incomplete. Please contact 1-877-866-4242.

Eligible for draw: Your supporting documents have been received and processed, and you are now entered into the bursary draw. Good luck!

Bursary recipient: Congratulations! You have been offered a bursary. Your host institution will be contacting you to confirm your acceptance and make further arrangements. However, if you don’t hear from them in a timely manner, please contact your host institution directly.

Waiting list: You are on the waiting list for future bursaries. Don’t despair! Draws will go on into the spring and summer to distribute those bursaries that become available.

Inactive: You were offered a bursary but did not reply within the timeline specified by your host institution.
