Some of the participants’ favourite activities are centred around sports and outdoor activities. For example, participants at the University of Victoria, La Cité universitaire francophone, Université de Regina, the University of Saskatchewan, and Université de Sherbrooke go on a fun camping weekend. Explore à La Pocatière participants at Campus Saint-Jean, University of Alberta, and those at Collège Saint-Charles-Garnier can go to the Village Vacances Valcartier. Students at La Cité universitaire francophone, Université de Regina, go canyoning, while the University of Saskatchewan recreates The Amazing Race show at Wanuskewin Heritage Park. Participants at École d’immersion française, Université Western, go on excursions to Mont Albert and Parc du Bic, while those at Glendon College go to Canada’s Wonderland amusement park. Cégep Rivière-du-Loup organizes an outing to an aerial park where participants get to try ziplining. Students at Centre linguistique du Collège de Jonquière explore a fjord, while those at Collège Saint-Charles-Garnier go rafting. Université de Sherbrooke organizes a Canada Day celebration that includes canoe trips, pedal boats, swimming, a campfire, music, and a barbecue. Participants at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi go for a fantastic hike along the fjord and spend a day in the woods doing activities like canoeing. Université Laval also organizes canoeing on the river in La Haute-Saint-Charles, while participants at Université de Moncton get to go to TreeGO aerial adventures.

Check out that page before selecting your three preferred study locations in order to choose institutions that offer the activities best suited to your interests rather than choosing institutions based solely on their location.
