Explore offers a bit of everything! If you like trips and outings…

Some of the participants’ favourite activities are centred around trips and outings. For example, students at the University of Victoria visit Butchart Gardens, and students at La Cité universitaire francophone, Université de Regina, go on a boat cruise to Percé. Participants at Université Saint-Boniface spend a day exploring a corner of Manitoba, while students at La Cité collégiale get an authentic sugar-shack experience. Students at École d’immersion française, Université Western, Cégep Rivière-du-Loup, Université Laval, and Université Sainte-Anne go whale watching, while students at Glendon College go to a Toronto Blue Jays game and take a trip to Niagara Falls. École d’immersion française, Université Western, Cégep Rivière-du-Loup, École de français, Cégep de Trois-Rivières, and Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières take participants on a trip to Quebec City. Students at Collège Saint-Charles Garnier go to Montmorency Falls, while those at Université du Québec à Montréal visit French-Canadian historical sites along the Saint Lawrence River. Participants at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières go on a field trip to La Mauricie National Park, and participants at Université Sainte-Anne visit Grand Pré, Port Royal, and Mavillette Beach Provincial Park. Students at Université de Moncton go on an excursion to Hopewell Rocks and a lobster-fishing cruise on the Bay of Fundy.

Past participants’ three favourite activities have been added to the Where to Explore page to highlight what makes each program special and unique. Check out that page before selecting your three preferred study locations in order to choose institutions that offer the activities best suited to your interests rather than choosing institutions based solely on their location.

Note: These activities can be optional or mandatory and may or may not be subject to fees.
