Explore (ages 13 to 15)

You asked, we listened!

We are proud to announce the addition of a three-week long Explore program for students aged 13 to 15 years old! Full-time students who are currently 13, 14 or 15 years old and are Canadian citizens or permanent residents can apply now until the deadline of February 15, 2019. Participants are awarded a place and funding which covers tuition fees for the course, instructional materials, meals, and accommodation.

This new initiative was piloted in 2011 and in 2012 with positive results and full participation, and its goal is to offer a three-week experiential program to students aged 13-15 who wish to experience a cultural exchange and intensive language learning in order to improve their competencies in one of Canada’s two official languages.

As with the current Explore program, participants will have the opportunity to:
•    Initiate or develop their language skills in a structured learning environment;
•    Create links with youths who speak their second language from across Canada; and
•    Enjoy a rich cultural experience in another part of Canada.
