Note: You must meet the age requirement by the time the course begins. Please pay special attention to the date classes start, as well as the type of accommodation offered. Once places are awarded, switching sessions or institutions is permitted only in exceptional cases and with the authorization of the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC).

Some institutions may require you to arrive a day earlier and/or leave a day later than the listed program dates. Please confirm your exact arrival and departure dates with your assigned institution before making any travel arrangements.

If you are not eligible for the funding provided by the Explore program (or if you miss the program deadline) and still wish to participate, most institutions accept participants who can cover their own expenses. Please contact the institution directly for more information.

Special Cases: For special cases (disability, need for medical care, etc.), you must contact your host institution as soon as you receive the e-mail informing you of the status of your application. Please note that you may be assigned to an institution other than the one you have chosen, which will be better able to assist you.

Kids Help Phone: If you find yourself in need of help during the Explore program (or at any other time), Kids Help Phone is a great resource.
