If you are an Explore or Destination Clic participant, you may be entitled to a travel discount to and from the Explore or Destination Clic institution that you are attending. Participants need to make their own travel arrangements and cover their travel costs.
How much? There is a 7.5 per cent discount at the time of booking for all classes of service available.
When? For travel close to the start and end dates of the Explore program.
Where? In regions served by VIA Rail.
What? A discount code will be sent from the institution to the participant.
How? Participants will receive an information package from the institution. This package will include the discount code, instructions on how to create a VIA Rail profile in order to use the discount, and a letter enabling them to use the discount code.
Who? The discount code is intended for the use of program participants only and is not meant for distribution outside of authorized channels.
Other: When picking up train tickets at the station, it is very important that participants show the Via Rail agent their letter from CMEC that includes their full name and the discount code. Participants who cannot produce this letter will be required to pay the full fare. The discount applies even in the case of a change of reservation (depending on the availability of seats on other trains). It should be noted that participants must comply with all requirements related to the tickets they have purchased.

When? You can book your travel arrangements to and from the Explore or Destination Clic institution at any time. Once you book with the dedicated travel agent from Flight Centre, you will be given an emergency number that is accessible 24/7, in case of disruptions during travel. There are no blackout periods.
Where to? Bookings can be made for any Explore or Destination Clic institution.
What? The dedicated travel agent books and manages travel for rail, car, flights, and accommodations backed by Flight Centre’s negotiated rates. Flight Centre can rebook missed, delayed, or cancelled flights and make alternative travel arrangements on behalf of the traveller.

Other: This option ensures smooth travel even in the case of travel disruptions and gives parents peace of mind by ensuring that all passengers get to their destination safely and securely.
Flight Centre also offers, without service fees or extra charge, the option of booking car rentals, hotels, trains, or flights through a team of bilingual travel agents during regular office hours at firstname.lastname@example.org. The traveller is presented three options, usually at a discount rate, and is under no obligation to book through Flight Centre. Because this is a free service, no emergency number can be provided in case of travel disruptions.
