Alberta to Quebec

I have to admit, when I walked off the plane in Bagotville, QC, I was nervous. It was my first time away from my family for more than a week, my french had a ridiculous immersion/Franco-Albertan accent, and I just wasn't ready to speak french 24/7.

By the end of my 5 weeks, however, I did not want to go home! I met the coolest people, I did so many activities that I would never have been able to do here in Alberta, and, best of all, I have friends from all over the world that I still communicate with.

If you ever have the chance to go, DO IT! Not only for the easiest way to improve your french, but to make friends that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
